When should I bring my child to the dentist for the first time?

When do wisdom teeth come in, and do they always need to be removed?
Wisdom teeth (or third molars) typically appear between the ages of 17 and 25. Not everyone gets them, and not all wisdom teeth need to be removed. We’ll monitor them with regular X-rays. If they are likely to cause crowding, pain, or other problems, Dr. Naguib may recommend a gentle removal to protect the health of your other teeth.
