When should I bring my child to the dentist for the first time?

Does a root canal hurt?

What are dental sealants, and who needs them?

They are most commonly applied for children as their permanent molars come in (around ages 6 and 12), but they can be a great preventive treatment for adults, too! When do wisdom teeth come in, and do they always need to be removed?
Wisdom teeth (or third molars) typically appear between the ages of 17 and 25. Not everyone gets them, and not all wisdom teeth need removal. We’ll monitor them with regular X-rays. If they are likely to cause crowding, pain, or other problems, Dr. Naguib may recommend a gentle removal to protect the health of your other teeth.
